SUNSHINE: THE MEDIATOR FOR RETURN TO ORIGIN

The association “one hundred thousand Ganachakra” was incorporated in 2016; it is composed of seven Buddhist women that work with the project “Bhutan and world peace.”

What are its activities?

Organizing a great ceremony ( “Ganachakra” or “Tsok” offering) that allows everyone to accumulate merit, to help yourself as well as others.

Where and when will the ceremony be held?

In 2017, for one week, at Drodul Phendeyling in the great Stupa for peace in the world, located in Gelephu, Bhutan; it will be repeated every year.

How?

Bhutanese nuns will accumulating 100,000 Ganachakra (or Tsok offering) before the Great Stupa Drodul Phendeling, located Gelephu. This project is supported by the  Hundred Thousand Ganachakra Association, currently made up of seven women.

Why?

The Ganachakra, which is to make offerings to the sublime Three Jewels , is one of the supreme methods to pacify adversity, overcome various obstacles, see wishes fulfilled and reach the state of Samantabhadra. Many texts mention its merits and benefits on a temporal level: the elimination of fears related to the disorder of the four elements (earthquakes, storms, hurricanes, tsunamis), disease and death. They also mention the absolute level, to reach the fullness of Pure land.
